Professional Fly Fishing Guide Service

We do not choose to be fly fishing guides on a whim. It is a vocation, a passion that we want to share, a desire to pass on our knowledge, our know-how, our technique but also our sensitivity for aquatic environments. After having fished a lot in France since a very young age, then more regularly and assiduously during my studies in environment in south of France, and in the Alps, I quickly knew that I had to work from this devouring passion. I started my career in the Fishing Federation of Finistère in Quimper for 5 years, then I had the opportunity to pass the Fishing Guide degree in 2004. In 2005, I went to Iceland for a first experience. That is where I met Noël Pollak, an Argentinian manager-guide who will allow me to start working with Nervous Waters company at the end of November 2005. I then continued my career as an international fishing guide guiding in Russia, Argentina, Bolivia, and specialized in migratory fish (Atlantic salmon, sea trout), dorado fishing (Argentina and Bolivia) and then through many trips, saltwater fly fishing to track down bonefishes, tarpons, permits. I have acquired a unique experience thanks to my seasons as guide and manager of world renowned lodges as well as many fishing trips. I wish you'll be interested in coming to french brittany so I can share this passion and experience with you to transmit you my skills and my know-how in this passion which unites us.

International fly fishing experience - Travel

I had the chance to travel abroad quite early, first of all with my father who shared the same passion. Then as soon as I had the opportunity, I went to visit new countries, especially between my seasons, to fish new species and learn again and again. Each trip brings a lot of lessons that greatly enrich our experience. By researching various species both in salt water and in freshwater, we acquire, it seems to me, a more complete and rich technique that can be used wisely on other fishing situations anywhere in the world. Reading the water, knowing the fish and their environment and adapting with a good ease in fly casting are the keys to success, not to mention the local guides that are valuable when you use their service. Fly fishing is so varied that it allows us to hunt down a very large number of species and to visit the world, rod in hand. Here are the countries that I could visit with my rod, sometimes alone, sometimes accompanied by my father, or my fishing partner and friend, Olivier.
